Swarovski<\/strong> enters the market of wearable technology too, with bracelets and pendants that get digital. The Austrian multinational, in fact, created a new company, Activity Tracking Crystal<\/strong>, in collaboration with Misfit Wearables<\/strong>, an American company specializing in sensors and applications to track and process information on different activities. The new jewelry embed the Shine<\/strong> sensor by\u00a0Misfit and can then measure the distance covered and calories burned during a run or a swim, or monitor the sleep quality. The project, which started more than a year ago, has scheduled its debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the largest electronics fair in the world which is held every year in Las Vegas in early January: in this occasion will be featured nine pieces designed with the style of Swarovski bracelet, a bracelet and a pendant in three colors, white, gray and black. The goal? Give the fans of the genre a bit of glitter at a cost ranging from 69 to 149 US dollars.<\/p>\n
