The Cruciani C bracelets are still in the field for a good cause. This time it is a question of evaluating the possibility and outcome of pregnancies carried out by patients affected by Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) treated with tyrosine kinase inhibitor drugs. Begun in January 2013, the study, which will be presented at the 56th annual meeting of the ASH-American Society of Hematology (San Francisco, 6-9 December 2014), has so far involved 63 patients aged between 22 and 37 and 71 pregnancies. Interesting data are already beginning to emerge, but in order to reach scientifically significant conclusions, a greater number of cases must be evaluated, involving other hematology centers in Italy. The research, which is expected to end at the end of 2015, will be made possible today thanks to the partnership between Ail (Italian Association against Leukemia) and Cruciani C. For the occasion, a bracelet called La buona Stella della Ricerca was created, in macram\u00e9 lace and lurex threads. The bracelet is inspired by the Christmas Star, symbol of the Association’s historic fundraising campaign. It comes in seven different colors: red, lurex red, carbon, lurex white, silver, gold, lurex green petrol. Of these colors, red, gold and silver will be distributed exclusively by Ail through its direct channels, website and social networks. Some celebrities from the world of cinema have already signed up, wearing the bracelet, such as Lorena Bianchetti, Claudia Gerini, Euridice Axen, Rosaria Renna, Nicolas Vaporidis and Matteo Branciamore. Luca Avallone, Francesco Formichetti and Clizia Incorvaia also attended the presentation at the Maxxi in Rome. The bracelets cost 10 euros.
