New rings for Perl\u00e9e, the collection by Van Cleef & Arpels and characterized by rows of gold pearls. After the first appearance in 2008 in white and pink gold, last year the line was extended to yellow gold. Now it’s the turn of other pearls, there are five of them and all semi-precious stones in as many shades: the green of malachite, the brick red of carnelian, the blue of turquoise, the brown of tiger’s eye and, finally, the black of onyx. At first glance, these jewels seem very simple, but behind them there is a great deal of attention to an almost meticulous production process, which involves several people, one of whom has the sole task of polishing each pearl and making sure it has the right shine and the necessary shape.
