The unique pieces by Giampiero Bodino, on display at the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris in September, will be a sort of Grand Tour in Italy declined in high jewelry. Nine themes, cameo, chimera, crown, compass rose, baroque, mosaic, treasures of the sea, trimmings and spring for 43 masterpieces inspired by Italian culture: the mosaics of our artistic heritage reinterpreted in the necklace with amethysts and cabochon turquoises, interspersed with brilliant-cut colorless diamonds; the neoclassical legacy in the ring with a chalcedony cameo and a sinuous curved setting; the corals of the Neapolitan Mediterranean in the necklace with rubies, black pearls, red and black spinels, yellow and orange sapphires; pictorial art in the flowers of the necklace with petals and leaves that look very natural because they are studded with precious gems chosen in harmonious colors, from white diamonds, intense yellow and cognac, to pink sapphires and emeralds mounted on white gold. The Turin designer, creator of the collection for the maison that bears his name, is also the artistic director of the Richemont group, the luxury holding company that includes other brands such as Cartier, Piaget and Van Cleef & Arpels.
