Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger met in 2012 while the singer was recording his fifth album. An unexpected love. “It’s like we always knew. This is a very intimate process. When the album was done and I had to work with other people, I asked him to come back to L.A. to ask him to continue writing with me, and he said, ‘Yeah, of course,'” Avril told People last year.
