Some time ago the American market research company Bundle established it with certainty: it is Harry Winston, in New York, where you can spend more than in any other jewelry retailer in the United States. The average receipt beaten by Harry Winston according to Bundle, which examined thousands of transactions made by jewelers between July 2010 and June 2011, is $8,388 (about 6,500 euros). Harry Winston, on the other hand, is located on Fifth Avenue, which is the most expensive shopping street in the world. The other jewelers on the list, by comparison, are much cheaper: At De Beers in Manhattan, for example, customers spend an average of $4,625, while at the William Noble Rare boutique in Dallas, the bill is around $5,839.
