\nBlue was the favorite color of the founder of the Maison, Samuel Fred. Furthermore, the carat weight alludes to Fred’s birthday, born in August 1908. The laboratory diamonds, called Fred Audacious Blue, are set next to other, white, perfectly natural diamonds. This combination is also unusual. The lab-created blue diamonds each weigh 0.5 carats and are set in four new pieces that are part of the fine jewelry set called Force 10 Duality, inspired by the brand’s Force 10 collection. Another unusual aspect concerns the special cut of laboratory diamonds. Each stone was cut according to the Hero Cut method with 36 facets. It is a cut patented by the French brand, which debuted in 2022. The inspiration for this surface is linked to the shape of boat sails and a shield.
