In fact, Italy exports a lot of jewels and semi-finished products, even if the statistics signal a slowdown in the third quarter of 2022. The cumulative value of the gold sector for the first nine months of 2022 records a growth in value of 27.2% on January &#8211; September 2021, at just over 7 billion euros. This is an increase of +41.4% compared to the 5.07 billion euros exported in the first nine months of 2019.
