From the early years of the last century, for example, creations by the sculptor Edoardo Saronni are on display and, in chronological order, the thirties (with the autarchic jewels of wood, galalith, cork, raffia, straw, stones and Venetian glass tiles, coral), to the bijoux manufactured by Florentine artisans in the post-war period, which began to set trends from Palazzo Pitti. The designers of the time were called Giuliano Fratti, Emma Caimi Pellini, Coppola and Toppo, Luciana de Reutern, Canesi, Ornella. And then Missoni, Biki, Germana Marucelli, Walter Albini, founders of Italian fashion. In the Seventies, Made in Italy was officially born. And the masters of fashion such as Armani, Versace, Ferr\u00e9, Moschino. Together with them, here are the creators of earrings, necklaces and rings, such as Ugo Correani, Sharra Pagano, Carlo Zini, Donatella Pellini, Angela Caputi, Maria Calderara or Giorgio Vigna, Fabio Cammarata, Emilio Cressoni, Thomas Roberts, Silvia Beccaria. All to be seen in the rooms of the large building that stands on the edge of Sempione Park.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Jewels, trinkets, bijoux: a short history of accessories linked to the world of fashion and design at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
