Rings inspired by the shape of DNA, the double helix that is the basis of life: it is the idea of the Japanese artist Takayas Mizuno ♦
A jeweler who is also an Artist Ikebana (teacher of Japanese flower arrangement): Takayas Mizuno, based in Los Angeles, is no ordinary designer. He grew up in Tokyo, world traveler, and in the United States has joined the tradition of the composition of Ikebana, with the composition-based of gemstone jewelry. Takayas decided to add to its line of jewelry a small collection of rings and earrings that have design as that of the DNA.
This “biological brick” that is the basis of the characteristics of each human being (each has a different DNA by the other) has the shape of a double helix. And since the marriage, or at least the union of two people in love should last eternity, the double helix symbolizes infinity and at the same time his own personality. Rings and earrings are available in silver versions 14K, 18K gold, and platinum. The rings are decorated with diamonds. Giulia Netrese
