There are clocks that are jewels. One of these is Cartier’s Panthère. Presented in 1983, it was a success until 2004, when it was put out of production. Last June, however, the French Maison decided to relaunch it. For the occasion, he asked the winner of an Oscar-winning Oscar-nominee, Sofia Coppola, named Cartier’s “friend”, to make a movie that has a young woman, partner and, of course, the clock as the protagonist.
