Stars and Stripes timetable with the new Essex line from Timex. The American watch brand that has managed to offer an interesting price-quality ratio, offers a series of four quartz watches, which summarize the brand’s qualities. It should be remembered, for those who don’t know it, the episode that took place during a live television broadcast in 1960, when a demolished Timex watch didn’t stop ticking. Not only that: the brand’s watches also traveled into space in 1966 and for this they obtained NASA certification. The new muscular Timex watches feature a low-lead brass case which, with an octagonal bezel and crown protector, mounts a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp.
On the dial, luminescent indexes and the Arabic numeral to indicate 12 o’clock. The time-only version of the watches offers two models with an ultra-thin 8 mm thick case and a diameter of 40 mm. They are offered in the steel-colored version and blue dial with orange details (109 euros) or with a yellow gold-colored finish and black dial with white details (119 euros). The watch with a 44 mm diameter case shows the date function at 3 o’clock on the black dial (109 euros). The line is completed by the model animated by a multifunction movement which is characterized by the 44 mm diameter steel-colored case like the bracelet and the blue dial (119 euros). All models in the Essex line are waterproof up to 50 meters.
