The Secret Gardens of Milan seen by Pasquale Bruni. It is the new collection of the Valenza-based company, one of the most prestigious brands of Italian high jewelery. As can be easily guessed from the name, the line is inspired by the gardens of the houses of Milan, invisible from the street, but small green oases that are often full of history. And also of style: Milan is the capital of design and, therefore, of the ability to translate art into a consumer product. Or jewelry, if you prefer. Here is the description that makes the maison of its new collection: “Sinuous gold leaves and precious stones embrace bewitching center stones with a typical five-petal flower shape, creating rings and necklaces with a harmonious design. The cut gems specially designed by the Maison for this collection lay on the sensual pavé. The rings dress the hands in an unusual, intriguing and feminine way to give each woman the opportunity to create her own garden, forming with the union of two or more rings always new secret shapes ».
By the way: to present the Pasquale Bruni collection he organized an event with great pomp, in Milan of course. An extraordinary event, in which we participated, hosted in the historic Casa degli Atellani residence, where there is the original vineyard cultivated by Leonardo da Vinci, where a beautiful garden is kept (obviously), as extraordinary was the wearer of the jewels : Dita von Teese, specialist in burlesque, but also standard-bearer of sensuality. The hostess, artistic director of the maison, Eugenia Bruni, thought of her as the queen of a stage set for the fashion show, with the jewels worn by nymphs, between tiaras and silks. For the occasion Dita von Teese, she wore the Fiore in fiore necklace. The jewels with a typical flower shape with five petals, an unmistakable sign of the maison, have a gem in the center with a special cut created especially for the collection and enhanced by the pavé of the leaves.
The Giardini Segreti collection is made up of gold and diamond jewels in the shape of leaves and flowers. The rings, with rounded petals, have an enveloping effect and, moreover, they can be combined together: “to give each woman the opportunity to create her garden, with the union of two or more jewels creating continuous secret shapes”, is the explanation. Each ring and pendant is also designed to accompany the Made in Italy silk scarf that incorporates the floral motif of the collection. By playing with the jewel and the scarf it will be possible to create multiple looks: from a precious scarf to a soft bag or worn in the hair to create a jewel turban. “It is fascinating and gives a real sense of joy to see how a tree wears its leaves in the glow of the day,” comments Eugenia Bruni, creative director of the Maison. «Nature hides infinite secrets to discover and live on your skin to feel a flower in the most precious garden of life». In addition to the rings, the collection includes pendants and earrings in parure, which follow the features of the body, and to which it is possible to add precious leaves: something more for special occasions, such as an evening.
