By Pianegonda the Reptilis collection, which reproduces in silver the scaly skin of snakes ♦ ︎
Who knows why reptiles are generally considered dangerous, treacherous and slimy animals. The same animals, such as snakes and crocodiles, are instead sought after in fashion and jewelry. Or rather, the scaly skins of the creeping oviparous become bags and shoes to the great satisfaction of women. The same women that, at the sight of a snake, would try to increase the distance that separates them from the animal. The same goes for jewels: reptiles are worn with pleasure when they become gold or silver.
Pianegonda, a brand of the Bros Manifatture group, knows this predilection and has transformed it into the Reptilis collection. Earrings, bracelet, necklace and ring are in 925 silver with the surface that presents the reproduction of the classic scales that distinguish the skin of reptiles. Prices range from 149 euros for a pair of earrings, up to 499 euros for the adjustable necklace and 349 for the rigid bracelet. Lavinia Andorno
