Dolce & Gabbana are not the only ones to reinterpret the myth of Sicily, land of contradictions and rare beauty: the brand Agalma Medusae, which we have already talked about here is intent on enhancing styles, atmospheres and matter ancient Trinacria. The latest concerns the cuff links, a kind of jewel also rediscovered by women. In this case they are set jewels from Catania artisans, made from black lava stone. They are volcanic twins, in fact. The stone is cut, processed, and then embedded in wet silver in gold, burnished or rosé. The jewel is ultimately decorated with designs that represent the history of Sicily. Not for nothing Giovanna Micali, the designer of the brand, is also a student of archeology, and passionate of his land. There are amazing decorations, with corals and shells, a cameo woman, the sacred heart of the baroque churches, but also designs that recall the Arab and Norman friezes. Margherita Donato
