The Kindred collection by Marco Dal Maso in rose gold, diamonds and sapphires, inspired by the ancient Nordic myths
The jewels were born as ornaments, but also as amulets. Sacred, symbolic, magical objects. And there are still those who do not forget those origins, like Marco Dal Maso. The Venetian jeweler, who has a passion for ethnic culture, especially the Maori people, has in fact launched Kindred collection. Let’s face it: you don’t know what thsi word it means.

Kindred, a Nordic word that can be translated as affinity, has ancient origins and is referred to a cult group based on family kinship ties. Kindreds are basic groups that may or may not be affiliated with larger associations (such as the Odinist Community or the Odinic Rite). In short, we are in the realm of Nordic, pre-Christian myths, in the atmosphere of Lord of the Rings. And in fact, in the Kindred collection, there is no shortage of rings, along with necklaces, earrings and bracelets.

The style of the collection alludes to a world in which the Vikings would perhaps be at ease, but with a more refined technique. In short, the jewels, in pink gold, champagne diamonds and red sapphires, are simple and elegant: they are inspired by myths, but do not want to be a replica of ancient jewelry. Above all, to wear them you don’t need to have blond braids.
