The jewelry in the shape of a pig, the animal of 2019 according to the Chinese horoscope ♦ ︎
There are animals that reign on Facebook or Instagram: cats, dogs, but also lions and horses. They are loved by everyone and attract avalanches of clicks. Other animals, however, do not have the same consideration, even if they then (unwillingly) play a role in the food chain. The pig is one of these.
Fortunately, even the pig has its moments of glory. For example, the Chinese horoscope assigns the 2019 to the sign of the pig (豬). In the Chinese zodiac the pink animal occurs every 12 years. But do not think it’s that simple. According to tradition there are five types of pigs: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth. Ok, for Westerners this is not very understandable, but it is so.
Not many jewelers are inspired by this humble, kind and too good animal. But someone has created jewelry with this subject.
We have selected some pig-shaped jewels.
