Do not call it Ikea jewelery. Yet one aspect in common with the model of the Swedish furniture chain, the new Perle Forte collection by Carolina Bucci has it. Necklaces and bracelets are, in fact, modular to made at home. The elements are bought in the London shop of the Florentine designer, but then the beads are subsequently inserted on cords of different colors. An idea that is similar to that of other brands that offer jewelry to be composed over time with elements chosen by the wearer.

The Perle Forte collection takes its name from the Tuscan seaside resort, Forte dei Marmi, where Carolina Bucci has spent many summer holidays. And when, to pass the time, he weaved bracelets with his sister and, years later, for his two sons.

The vintage atmosphere is also created by 16 large glass jars such as those for sweeties, full of semi-precious stones, which customers can select.

The beads are then put on a lurex lace, proposed in four different colors. There are also elements in 18 carat gold that can be added to the beads, like the one that compose the word “CARO”. You can also buy online. A bracelet with 30 beads costs 450 pounds, about 500 euros. The necklaces with 80 beads come to 910 pounds, about a thousand euros. The gold elements raise the price.
