Voice Vicenzaoro starts




Bet won or bet lost? Voice Vicenzaoro (Saturday 12 to Monday 14 September) is, in practice, the only major event related to jewelry (It’s to be checked Istanbul Jewelry Show in October) that is not stopped or transformed with a digital cosmetics due to covid. Voice Vicenzaoro, however, does not want to be a lame edition of the fairs dedicated to jewelry. Ieg, the company that organizes Vicenzaoro, has in fact studied a somewhat different form. Sustainable jewels in VicenzaOro January





VicenzaOro January in an edition dedicated to sustainable jewelery. With many new features ♦ ︎

VicenzaOro January it’s back (Friday 18 – Wednesday 23). For the main italian fair dedicated to jewelry is, this time, the first appointment completely organized by the new management of Italian Exhibition Group, that is without the presence of former manager Corrado Facco and former vice president Matteo Marzotto. Not only that: it will also be the first time, after 25 years, without an important exhibitor like Pasquale Bruni, but with the presence of new brands and some returns, like Chantecler. But this does not changes the importance of the appointment, a firm reference point for the gold industry and for jewelry lovers. Easy to summarize the official data of VicenzaOro January.

More than 59,000 square meters gross of spaces set up, 36,000 expected visitors, including international buyers, producers and designers from more than 130 countries: 60% of visitors come from abroad.

As usual, the exhibitors are divided into homogeneous areas: Icon, Look, Creation, Expression, Essence, Evolution, to which is added the Design Room with 12 invited brands. For companies, in conjunction with Vicenzaoro, also returns T.Gold, the exhibition dedicated to machinery and innovative technologies applied to jewelery and precious objects. And for visitors, following the Milan Design Week model, the program outside the Fair is back: Vioff Golden Wood edition (from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 January).
The program of initiatives will be dedicated, among other things. fundraising for the reconstruction of a wood on the Asiago plateau after the flood last autumn. The Fuori Fiera created by the City of Vicenza to promote the city and its excellences includes a program of initiatives dedicated to art, culture, entertainment and sporting exhibitions, widespread crafts & design shows, products of local businesses.

In addition to the stands with the new collections, VicenzaOro January also offers a series of training events as usual.

The Club degli Orafi Italia, for example, has organized a conference on the hot topic of sustainability: Sustainable (R) evolution: creating value through social purpose, scheduled for Sunday morning, January 20th, with Gabriele Aprea, president of the Club degli Orafi Italia and Chantecler , and by Marco Carniello, director of Ieg’s Jewelery & Fashion division, Eleonora Rizzuto, director of Sustainable Development for Bulgari and Lvmh, Aram Shishmanian, CEO of the World Gold Council, Enzo Liverino, president of Enzo Liverino 1894, Gaetano Cavalieri, president of Cibjo . In fact, the fil rouge of the appointment is sustainable creativity. VicenzaOro expands: here are the events planned inside and outside the Fair pavilions ♦ ︎

The result can be drawn at the end. But VicenzaOro September 2018 seems to be immune from the Baselworld syndrome, the one that has removed many jewelery and watch brands from the exhibition halls. The autumn edition of the fair (22-26 September) seems to start with good vitality. For the first time, for example, the entire city of Vicenza has been involved, with a series of events outside the Vicenza Fair complex, in a sort of festival that is not only dedicated to jewelery, but also to culture and to the gastronomy (even the jewelers are gourmand).
In addition, one of the cards played by the Italian Exhibition Group, but which was launched before the merger between Fiera Vicenza and Fiera di Rimini, is the intuition that in a global world you can not stay in your tower. It necessary get busy. And so VicenzaOro has become a format to export: a brand that has taken root in Dubai, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Mumbai. Result: 4500 companies involved in the VicenzaOro system, with 96 thousand visitors coming from over 130 countries in the world and 3,800 top buyers.

To start the VicenzaOro edition will be Visio.Next:Trends, round table discussion on the future of jewelry, scheduled for Saturday, September 22 (10.00 am Sala Tiziano PAD 7.1). Some of the most influential protagonists of the global market will be confronted with the latest trends in the world of jewelry, on the methods of consumption and on market trends destined to leave their mark.
Also on Saturday 22nd, in the afternoon at 4.30pm (Hall 7 stand 240) Coronet, the famous brand of the Hong Kong company Aaron Shum, will try to win the Guinness World Record Certificate for two pieces of the collection (The most diamonds set on a mobile phone houses and The most diamonds set on a lipstick case).

Gold and street food

As mentioned, VicenzaOro also expands to the outside. The outside fair is called Vioff – Golden taste edition, conceived and organized by the Municipality of Vicenza in the historic center. After the gold visitors and exhibitors will find food and culture, including exhibitions like the one organized at the Jewelery Museum, concerts, street food, animations, shops and museums open, until the grand finale in Piazza dei Signori. At 9 pm, in Piazza dei Signori at the Soprana jewelry store, D’Orica will present Treesure, a jewel that comes from the encounter between silk and gold. In collaboration with the City of Vicenza and VicenzaOro will take shape a performance of the school children Palladio Danza and Contemporary Sinergie.
Sunday, September 23, however, from 16 to 17 (Hall 1 – Stand 110) Rebecca will present the new collection, with a cocktail at the stand, in the presence of the testimonial Federica Nargi, showgirl and influencer face of the new advertising campaign.
Also on Sunday 23 September from 5 to 6 pm (Hall 7 Stand 302) will be a cocktail for the presentation of the new collection of Tamara Comolli, German designer founder of the homonymous brand, who recently inaugurated the first single-brand store in Italy to Forte dei Marmi. From 6 pm (Star Lounge – Vicenza Fairground), the Star Party of Comete Gioielli is scheduled, an event reserved for all customers and the press to present the new Stella collection, in which there will be an exceptional godmother, the TV presenter Alessia Marcuzzi, testimonial of the new communication campaign.
On the evening of Sunday at the Teatro Comunale in Vicenza, the Pesavento Awards 2018 will be staged, an event that rewards the jewelers of the brand that achieved the best results in 2018.

With Vioff many opportunities for food, culture and entertainment in the city that hosts VicenzaOro (22-26 september) ♦ ︎

Jewels to taste. Or, better, jewelry combined with gastronomy, culture and entertainment. From this year VicenzaOur expands also outside the pavilions of the Vicenza Fair. The project is called Vioff, the Fuori Fiera designed for Saturday 22 September by the City of Vicenza and Ieg to promote the city and its excellence at VicenzaOro September. A bit like it happens in Milan during the Salone del Mobile, in short, the rest of the city also takes part in the event.
Next to gold, food and culture, concerts, street food, animations, shops and museums open, and a grand finale in Piazza dei Signori. Here is the program for those who will be in Vicenza (like Gioiellis.com).
The food
On Saturday 22 September over one hundred shops in the historic center will set up one space outdoor, thanks to a kit prepared by the organization and consisting of tablecloths and gold balloons, a place granted free by the City to adopt and promote a typical local product. From 18 Viale Rumor, closed to the historic center through the picturesque promenade that leads to Ponte Pusterla, it will become a street food. The initiative is curated by motorized kitchens – Food Truck Festival. The initiative will start on Friday 21 September (from 6 to 12) and will continue during Sunday, September 23 (Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 24). Along the entire Fogazzaro course, including the stretch to the north, Confesercenti of Vicenza and Verona will propose, from early afternoon to late evening, tasting points. Finally, in Piazza Castello from 11 to 15 and from 18 to 22 will be the protagonists of the Venetian products of the Venetian Marinerie Association of Chioggia, in the city from 21 to 23 September to enhance the gastronomic treasuries of our sea through the initiative Gold in the mouth.

The culture
Every corner of the city and Vicenza will be animated by the Pedrollo Conservatory of Vicenza. At 6 pm outside the fair, where from Saturday 22nd to Tuesday 25th September there will be an Infopoint managed by the Vicenza is a consortium to inform visitors and exhibitors about the beauties of the city, a jazz band will perform, while at the same time in Piazza San Lorenzo will play a quartet of sax. The music will then spread in the historical center where, from 19, the musicians of the Pedrollo conservatory will perform first in front of the Palazzo Trissino and then in the loggia of the Palladian Basilica.

Special ticket for museums
Throughout the day and up to 22 all museums in the city can be visited with a single ticket: at the symbolic price of 5 euros you can access the civic art gallery of Palazzo Chiericati, the Church of Santa Corona, the Naturalistic Archaeological Museum, Palazzo Leoni Montanari – Galleries of Italy, at the Palladio Museum, the Diocesan Museum and the Jewel Museum. For the occasion, the Infopoints, the Piazza Matteotti and the Archaeological Natural Museum, managed by the Vicenzaè consortium, will remain open until 21.30, while – as already mentioned – a specific desk will work in fair to inform and historic exhibitors. The Olympic Theater, however, will be open because it will be staged that evening the first national performance of the show The Return of Ulysses, prologue of the 71st Cycle of Classical Shows.
Guided tours
In collaboration with licensed tour guides, starting at Piazza Matteotti at 6.30 pm and at 8 pm, a free itinerary can be followed outside The main building of the city, while at 8.30 pm the holders of the special 5-euro ticket will be guided inside Palazzo Chiericati and the Church of Santa Corona. Guided tours must be booked by telephone at the IAT office at 0444/320854 or by e-mail: iat@comune.vicenza.it starting from Thursday 6 September.
At 6.30 pm a guided tour of Vicenza will be organized, starting from the columns of Piazza dei Signori, proposed by the group of shopkeepers who can boast this prestigious title.
Finally, at Palazzo Leoni Montanari – Galleries of Italy from 17 to 21.30, with a supplement of 3 euros on the entrance ticket some masterpieces, from the theme “Jewels and fashion from antiquity to the eighteenth century in Venice”.

Palladian Basilica
In the upper loggia and on the terrace of the Basilica an exclusive event will be hosted by the Italian Exhibition Group (a company that organizes VicenzaOro) with the collaboration of the magazine VO +. An evening Open Cocktail, which will be a unique opportunity for the city to be admired by an exclusive audience of journalists, exhibitors and international buyers. A preview, Friday 21, instead, the square Palladio will host Pizza in The Piazza, a dinner organized for the international press in the sector that, in the same day, will visit the city and in particular the Olympic Theater. In the lower portico of the Palladian Basilica, the Jewel Museum, which can be visited up to 10 pm with the special 5 euro ticket that will give access to all the museums, it will be possible to visit the new Jewels of Power: Corone and Tiare, while the Soprana jewelery will propose, in collaboration with the goldsmith company Dorica de Nove, a temporary exhibition of Treesure jewels, with performances by dancers and models.
Videomapping
After the closing of the museums scheduled for 22, the walls of the Palladian Basilica will constitute the scene of an original architectural video-performance performance, with audiodesign, able to underline and interpret the Palladian architectural signs. The videomapping show will last about half an hour.
Big End
From 22, in Piazza dei Signori, after the screening of videomapping, musical entertainment with the boys of the Cuore Matto, who thanks to their staff and their choreography will make everyone dance under the stars of the most golden and starry square in Italy.
