La Maison de Grisogono is based in Geneva, on Lake Geneva, but its founder Fawaz Gruosi (now exited from the company), is an Italian of Lebanese origin. Italy and Lebanon, two countries overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Perhaps as a reflection of these origins, between sea and blue sky, strong colors and primary tastes, de Grisogno offers three high jewelery creations dedicated to the Mediterranean, with turquoise stone in the center. The blue of turquoise is combined with the warmth of amethysts or pink sapphires, it evokes the richness and the Mediterranean flora, or, in a creation, it matches the depth of emeralds and blue sapphires that reflect the magnificence of the sea.

The necklace is composed of 11 cabochon cut turquoises. Each of the natural stones has been selected for its size and for the depth of its colors. Each individual stone is set in a fan of amethysts and pink sapphires as a tribute to the Maison’s famous Ventaglio collection.

The ring takes up the pattern of the Ventaglio (fan) collection. At the heart of the jewel is an exceptional cabochon cut turquoise. On the two sides of the stone there are the flounces of the fan composed of diamonds, pink sapphires and brilliant-cut amethysts. With an exquisite finish to the touch of the hand, the eye discovers that the wings of the jewel are entirely covered with amethysts also in the lower part.

The earrings evoke the waves of the sea with pendants of turquoise, sapphires and emeralds set with the technique of neige serts, joining like two sensual currents going up towards the ear. The jewel is fluid and light thanks to the titanium structure.

So, next to a spectacular necklace with three turns of black diamonds, with the addition of three brilliant cut diamonds to climb (respectively of 3, 2.5 and 2 carats) with a reinterpretation of the classic (for De Grisigono) pavé of black diamonds introduced ten years ago, here are the continuative Allegra and Ventaglio collections, with jewels designed for more everyday use.

For example, Allegra in pink and semi-paved gold has a rubber necklace and a precious pendant, in a smaller volume compared to the previous vintages.

A mix of very different materials gives a gritty look to the Allegra ring in white gold and black ceramic to be worn together with the bracelet in white gold and black leather. From the iconic world of Allegra, but in the all day wearing version, we move on to the Ventaglio collection, which incorporates the same concept of widening the range: alongside the dazzling white and full pavé gold earrings there is the minimal version, with dimensions smaller, but not lustrous, in rose gold and white diamonds, to wear without looking ridiculous even in the morning.

Also in Geneva, de Grisogono presented capsule collections, non-continuous pieces that change every year.

For 2019 there is the accessible version as volume of the Boule line, played on the combination of materials, ceramics and onyx next to diamonds and white and pink gold. There is also a sutoir that can be worn in three different ways.

Fringe and Ventaglio (Fan) signed de Grisogono, but not only for the summer.
The soft breeze of a traditional fan is more pleasant air conditioning. And in winter the range can take a simple decorative function. At this traditional accessory, used in many hot countries, it is dedicated to a collection by de Grisogono, jeweler based in Geneva. Ventaglio is simply a collection that consists of four pairs of earrings, but they are particularly fascinating jewels. They have a shape reminiscent of a fan, with diamond lines, sapphires and amethysts of different colors and shades, made from strips of alternating light and darker color, always in the same key. Although the collection only includes earrings, almost the same motif is in the Frange collection. In this case there are three rings, also in this case made around a shade of color, with pink gold, white and brown diamonds or pink sapphires.
