Flowers and colored feathers composed of gold and precious stones with micro mosaics presented by Sicis in Singapore ♦ ︎
Sicis micro mosaics get to JeweLuxe Singapore (from October 16th). The event dedicated to the design of jewelery and watches also hosts the novelties of the Italian company from Ravenna, which has renewed the technique of micro mosaic: each jewel is composed of gold, precious stones and thousands of microscopic crystal pieces specially created and glued one to one. A job that often requires hundreds of hours of application.
The design of each model was created to improve the incredible complexity of this process brought to new splendor by Sicis jewels through a demanding path of study and research. Each object is unrepeatable, since the micro-splinters are forged and segmented with a completely manual process and subsequently laid one by one by skilled micro-mosaic artists. In Singapore, Sicis offers new pieces of floral lines, but also colored feathers, presented in recent months, in a game of diamonds and gold, cabochon rubies. They are jewels, but also small works of art that make better when they are seen live.
