The basic idea of Play of Lights is to seize, through Piaget’s fine jewelry, that magical moment that marks the transition between night and day. Photographers know that the dawn is defined as a golden hour and it’s a special moment, in which the colors are vivid and the sky clear. The jewels of this line, in fact, follow the shades of white and yellow diamonds. For example, in the dazzling Golden Hour necklace. The mix of white and colored diamonds recreates the light of the first rays of the sun, with at the center a fancy vivid yellow diamond of 6.63 carats. The fancy vivid yellow diamonds are extremely rare: only one in 10,000 is classified as fancy and of these, only 6% is fancy vivid. For this realization, this necklace required 450 hours of work.
