Vhernier, the brand of jewelry that combines sophistication and design, is launching a new line. It’s called Plissé, a word that in French means fold, and is a tribute to the land of One The Thousand and One Nights. The rings are not magic, there’s not Aladdin, but the atmosphere of the jewels recalls the dunes of the desert, the smells and the stars of heaven oriental. Yet at the same time, there is no exoticism: the line is inspired by the winds of the Sahara, but without indulging in stale icons, without imitating the design ethnic. The sand is, however, symbolized by the surface of the jewelry, broken down into so many faces: the folds of metal are reflected in each other in a play of light and shadows. The flashes of gold, in its white or pink shades, next to the glitter of small diamonds evoke without mechanically without thinking. They are part of the line rings, earrings and bracelets. G.N.
