Until … The Chinese fairy tale re-launched in the famous opera by Giacomo Puccini lives today in a collection of jewels. And without fear of having to answer to a question with trap included. To sing up Turandot is, in fact, a jewelery brand, Mayumi, a Verona Maison that specializes in pearl-based collections. The jewels of the collection dedicated to the Puccini work have nothing to do with Chinese, but they point out perhaps the character of the protagonist of the fairy tale: around the pearls there are multicolored zircons that allude to Turandot’s volubility. The jewels are in pink silver and Pearls of Tahiti, and probably would have been liked by the Chinese princess.
