Wings, dogs, even fetuses: the world of the designer Mariana Gorga seems to fly with the imagination ♦ ︎
From Brazil to Italy, on the wings of mythology: it’s the story of the young designer Mariana Gorga, Italian-Brazilian based in Florence. After attending the Istituto Europeo di Design, Mariana was launched in the world of jewelry and met once a good recognition, so that her jewelry is immediately entered in the catalog of Luisaviaroma. Call them jewels, actually, it is quite an understatement: they are wearable sculptures, gold and stones, made with traditional and craftsmanship.
Just do not resemble at all to something already seen: in fact often equipped with mythological wings ready to fly on the hands or around the body of the wearer. However, they are small enough to not cause trouble and, when their size becomes more challenging, you can wear them on their shoulders. The wings are, however, only the hallmark of its latest proposal, the Wings Collection. Marian has, in fact, also other strings to its bow: the flowers of the Baby Bloom line, medals of the Spiritual Collection, the petals of Orchids Collection and even jewelry in the shape of dogs..
