The Maison of Monaco of Bavaria, Hemmerle, has a long history which we have already talked about here. Now the German brand, one of the most appreciated in the world, is in New York to pay tribute to a piece of jewelry that has made famous Hemmerle. The history of this jewelry began in 1995, when the jeweler receives a commission for a ring from a family friend: with diamond, but also made in iron. The result is amazing and the contrast between the rough metal and the bright stone becomes an icon. Hemmerle since then continues his ride in the design of contemporary jewelery, and even once again, this year, the black iron with white diamonds, as in the case of a pair of earrings that seem surrounded by thorns. A little ‘punk, but luxurious. Or the ring, also in iron and cushion cut diamonds that seem to float within their facilities. In short, great contrast, refinement mediated by the use of raw materials. After all, it is the way many people imagine Germany: rigor immersed in the poetry of Goethe and the Beethoven’s music.
