Georg Jensen, tribute to Vivianna Torun

The Danish Maison Georg Jensen celebrates Vivianna Torun, the great Swedish designer who defined an era ♦
The myths do not die, simply they take a vacation. They continue to live long in the memories but, above all, in the works that make up their testimony. The think so too the Danish designer Georg Jensen, famous for its refined search for clean lines. The myth that continues to live with him is to Vivianna Torun, woman who has marked an era not only in the world of handcrafted metal.
Born in Malmo, Sweden, in 1927, Vivianna began when she was young to work with the jewelry. In the mid-fifties, she moved to Paris, where he met and frequented Picasso and Matisse, and also thanks to them has counted among its clients star of the show as Billie Holiday, Brigitte Bardot and Ingrid Bergman. A woman ahead of its time, free (three marriages), creative, essential. Vivianna Torun disappeared in Copenhagen in 2004 and now, on the fiftieth anniversary of collaboration with Georg Jensen, the Danish Maison proposes Savannah, a silver ring, with other jewelry designed by Swedish designer.
