Faraone Casa d’Aste: the hammer will beat again in May. Here are the most interesting pieces.
Back to beat the hammer Patrizia Carrobio, banditrice Faraone Casa d’Aste. After an encouraging debut in 2016 (two auctions with pieces sold for a value of 2 million), the subsidiary of the historic jewelery Faraone in Milan replicate a jewelry sale on May 8. In the Hotel Four Seasons the auction will be mainly addressed to collectors and dealers, cause the value of the lots presented (but is not precluded the participation of private), while the Christmas Auction, at the end of November, will see for sale with items from the most affordable price.
In May, however, the catalog includes about 150 pieces, including jewelry and watches, obviously some Faraone brand, but also other brands. For example, a bracelet signed Cusi in platinum and diamonds Asscher cut, for about 18K and a choker nineteenth century which consists of five strands of natural pearls with central pendant. The auction house also reports a platinum ring by Buccellati with a central diamond 2.10 carat, surrounded by brilliant diamonds, old cut, a chocker Pederzani with 32-carat brilliant-cut diamonds and 78 carat diamond drop cut, two Faraone rings, one in 18 carat white gold with a weight of 3.38 carat Burmese sapphire round, and one with a 4.62 carat diamond.
Do not miss the convertibles, as a brooch forties platinum and diamond baguette and brilliant cut a total of about 13 carats, divisible into two symmetrical elements, plus a Faraone bracelet in 18K yellow gold with two bows, which can become pins with round cut emeralds, diamonds, rubies and sapphires. Halfway between fine jewelry and watches, a jewel bracelet watch Jager-LeCoultre, in yellow gold and with a retractable made entirely of diamonds, which is also convertible into a collier, through two separate components, will complete the offer along with a host of investment diamonds.
