Two or three new collections every year, bold proposals, a pinch of sensuality: here is the French brand Djula.
French jewelry for everyone, for those on a medium budget and for whom, instead, can afford to spend more. Alexandre Corrot built 20 years ago the Djula brand, in Paris, and the designer and founding artistic director of the Maison has chosen what he defines a glam-rock style for her jewelry. Repeatedly breaking with tradition as in its collection of jewelry inspired by the “barbed wire”. But not without having rinsed in the river of tradition, its roots: using ideas ranging from Art Nouveau to the more futuristic lines, all seasoned with a little ‘of sensuality. Precious materials, embroidery, innovative ideas. These three guidelines are applied in two different contexts. The first is that of fine jewelry, but “normal.” The second is, instead, a higher line, in which gold and diamonds are the materials in the center of the collection.
