David Webb in Paisley shape

David Webb presents at Couture its renewed collections ♦
Exoticism is the kind of cultural and artistic reference inspired by forms and stories of distant lands. Today is no longer very interesting, but it was cool an half a century ago it was. And for David Webb, class 1925, born in North Carolina, Greece, Syria, Turkey and Peru were far away. But full of charm, especially for their ancient history, traditions and artistic legacy.
Many years ago, the Ancient World collection, which was inspired by exotic and antiques shapes, was born from this interest. After the death of the designer, the company that discovered the inheritance continues the work of the founder, and the Ancient World collection continues to grow in pieces, such as the Paisley ring, inspired by the Indian geometric pattern, presented at Couture in Las Vegas. Enamel, 18-karat gold, unique jewelery combinations, use of precious jade, give a special charm to this collection. At the show of the city of Nevada, however, David Webb also brings other novelties such as the jewelry from the Toolchest collections, with 18K gold-tone motifs, and Wood Works, inspired by the American designer’s original designs but reinterpreting them with the wood.
