Marco Bicego lands at Baselworld 2016 with a novelty: Lunaria Lapis. Lunaria is one of the most famous collections by the Veneto brand. And, since the jewelry line is inspired by the stars, here is a version with the blue color of the sky. To give the key of the vault of heaven in the evening is the lapis, which is considered the stone of the stars. This stone has a long history: it is found in the tombs of the Pharaohs to accompany their eternal sleep, to Babylon gracing the profiles of Ishtar, the divine door, but it was been also used by the painters of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance to paint the sky. A deep blue and crossed the golden veins of pyrite, embodies all the power and mystery of a starry night. The lapis lazuli (full name) in Buddhism is also considered one of the seven treasures and equated with self-consciousness. It consists predominantly of intense blue color (but also exist color samples closer to blue, depending on the amount of calcite). In this case it is accompanied with gold and replaces the previous version of the line, which used the aquamarine.
