Angela Puttini hosts in Capri the jewels of Turkish artist Sevan Bicakci ♦ ︎
Many centuries ago, the island of Capri was tormented by the incursions of Saracen pirates, crews who sailed from Turkey to attack ships and towns on the shores of the Mediterranean. Today, instead, Capri hosts a Turkish with all (well-deserved) honors: he is Sevan Bicakci, jeweler-artist of Istanbul, who creates rings with meticulously carved stones, with a neo-Ottoman style. To welcome the Bicakci jewels is another jewelery maison who loves to link his work with History, Angela Puttini. The jewelery company in Capri, created by Angela Puttini, and now conducted by Antonella Puttini, proposes collections that testify to the long history of the island facing Naples: from the fervor of the Roman emperor Tiberius, to the artistic rebirth in the seventeenth century, with the workmanship of coral and cammei worked by the craftsmen of Torre del Greco. A work that continues today with collections that are continually renewed and have a large number of fans. Giulia Netrese
