There are jewels that tear a wow, there are stones that cry out records, there are auctions that live of media, as well as money changes hands. Other sales, like the one organized by Christie’s on June 1 in Paris, are involving the true connoisseurs. There are not diamonds that scream, but quality pieces. As Coquillage by Suzanne Belperron: earrings-shells by, 1935, which are deservedly on the cover of the auction catalog. Each shell is made with a paved diamonds, and a black line of enamel. The estimate ranges from 40,000 to 60,000 euro. By the same mythical designer it is proposed a necklace of rubies: is composed of two lines of the ruby spheres, with a closure consisting of two cabochon rubies in a circle of diamonds. It is dated around 1960 and is 59 centimeters long, mounted in 18K white gold and platinum. The necklace is valued between 15:00 and 20,000 euro. But, in addition to traditional signatures, as the earrings with emeralds Cartier, you also get the bracelet with a futuristic design Ulla + Martin Kaufman, or the hermetic cuff by Sophia Vari called Eros.
