From Roberto Coin the new Roman Barocco collection, dedicated to the elaborate architecture of the Eternal City ♦ ︎
Fron one thingh can borns another thingh, says an old proverb. And so, a success inspires a successor or, at least, a designated heir. This is the case of the Barocco collection by Roberto Coin, one of the lines of jewels that has achieved good results. From that idea the Roman Barocco collection is born. It’s called Roman Barocco because it is inspired by the beauty of the capital of Italy, by millennial history and, among other things, home of the Baroque style celebrated in the architecture of Bernini and Borromini.
From that legacy that still amazes millions of tourists and art lovers, the jewels of the Roman Barocco collection descend.
The elaborate and rich architecture of Roberto Coin’s jewels is divided into two different looks, united by the technique of weaving the golden threads, which the technique that recurs in all the collections of the Barocco family. The jewels have curved and sinuous lines, such as the domes or columns inside the Basilica of San Pietro or the theatrical staircases of the noble palaces of that historical period, in yellow, white and pink gold, illuminated by pavé diamonds.
