Im Wesentlichen scheiden sie sich von ihrem Ehepartner (dem Rest des Atoms, dh dem zentralen Kern und den anderen Elektronen) und verloben sich mit einem anderen: Sauerstoff. Es ist ein Prozess, der in der Chemie als Ionisation bezeichnet wird. Wenn sie aus dem Metall entweichen, erzeugen die Elektronen, die sich von ihrem urspr\u00fcnglichen Kern getrennt haben, um sich mit dem Sauerstoff zu verbinden, die oxidierte Oberfl\u00e4che.
