Nicht nur das: Es handelt sich oft um wenig bekannte Edelsteine, die vorzugsweise in Amerika gewonnen werden, wie Kunzit oder kalifornischer Danbuirit, neben den bekannteren Aquamarinen, Turmalinen, Smaragden, grauen Diamanten und Perlen. Es gibt aber auch Maigl\u00f6ckchenohrringe mit einem in Deutschland geschnitzten Opal, der auf einem geh\u00e4mmerten Goldstiel montiert ist.
