Der Stein ist auf einem Cartier-Cocktailring von 1960 montiert, der am 23. Juni im <strong>Dorotheum<\/strong> zusammen mit 200 anderen Juwelen versteigert wird. Der Edelstein ist ein seltener birmanischer Rubin, der sich in der Mitte des Rings befindet. Er ist unbehandelt und stammt aus den Mogok-Minen. Nach der gemologischen Untersuchung hat der Stein einen seltenen Farbton zwischen Purpurrot und Rosa und ist von individuell gesetzten Diamanten umgeben. Ein weiteres Beispiel f\u00fcr die Dorotheum-Auktion stammt von Bulgari: ein unbehandelter blauer Saphir mit 3,25 Karat aus Sri Lanka, eingerahmt von zahlreichen Diamanten und Brillanten. Ein weiteres Highlight ist ein von Chantecler signiertes Schmuckset in Form eines Schmetterlings, das aus einem Ring und einem Paar Ohrringen besteht. Nochmals: ein 1970er Set von Van Cleef &amp; Arpels, bestehend aus vier Armb\u00e4ndern mit ca. 6 Karat Diamanten und einer Freimaurerkette mit ca. 30 Karat Diamanten.
