In einer von Bain ver\u00f6ffentlichten Umfrage zur Kundenstimmung gaben US-Verbraucher an, dass Schmuck und Uhren zu den vier wichtigsten Geschenken geh\u00f6ren, die sie gerne erhalten w\u00fcrden. Verbraucher in China und Indien rangierten sie unter den ersten beiden. In den USA, China und Indien glauben 60% bis 70% der Befragten, dass Diamanten ein wesentlicher Bestandteil eines Engagements sind. Und nach dem Ende der Pandemie gaben 75-80% der Verbraucher an, dass sie mindestens den gleichen Betrag f\u00fcr Diamantschmuck ausgeben wollten wie vor der Krise. Kontinuierliche technologische Fortschritte, warnt Bain &amp; C, haben 2019 und 2020 zu einem zweistelligen Produktionswachstum und niedrigeren Einzelhandelspreisen f\u00fcr Diamanten aus Laboranbau beigetragen. Der Preisunterschied zwischen nat\u00fcrlichen und aus Laboranbau ausgefallenen Diamanten ist bis dahin besonders \u00fcberraschend zehn Mal. Daher erweitern gro\u00dfe Schmuckh\u00e4ndler ihr Produktangebot um Diamanten aus Laboranbau, positionieren die Kategorie im Segment Modeschmuck weiter und machen sie einem breiteren Spektrum preisbewusster Verbraucher zug\u00e4nglich.
