In Liebe zu Japan und seinen (oft \u00fcberraschenden) Traditionen widmete sich Barbara Lebole der Lotusblume, die auf Japanisch Hasu hei\u00dft, insbesondere der Ohga-Sorte, einer ihrer Ohrringsammlungen. Aus diesen Samen bl\u00fchte ein bis dahin unbekanntes Exemplar von Lotus, das nach fast zweitausend Jahren bei uns eintraf. Nach der Tradition reicht es nicht aus, dass der Samen zum Schl\u00fcpfen ins Wasser geworfen wird: Er muss zerkratzt werden. Aus diesem Grund wurzelt es leichter in sumpfigem Wasser, da die R\u00fcckst\u00e4nde, die der Schlamm schleppt, den Samen zerkratzen und ihm so seine Vitalit\u00e4t verleihen. Wie die anderen Lotus-Sorten ist auch Ohga ein Symbol f\u00fcr Reinheit, da es auch in schlammigen Gew\u00e4ssern makellos bl\u00fcht.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_81662\"
