Baselworld hat jedenfalls zugegeben, dass die Idee, die Messe auf Mai zu verschieben, um sie mit Sihh zu verkn\u00fcpfen, die inzwischen ihren Namen in Watches &amp; Wonders Geneva, eine Veranstaltung, die der Haute Horlogerie gewidmet ist, ge\u00e4ndert hat, nicht wiederholt wird : Im Jahr 2021 soll die Baselworld Ende M\u00e4rz oder Anfang April zur\u00fcckkehren. Noch schwerer zu sagen ist, ob die Baselworld wieder das Weltzentrum der Uhrmacherkunst sein wird: Bis der britische Schmuckdesigner Stephen Webster 1999 mit der Ausstellung begann, war die Baselworld in erster Linie ein Schaufenster der Schweizer Uhren.
