Dezember in New York verstorben ist. Nicht nur die neuen Designer: Wer Schmuck liebt, sollte auch wissen, wer die gro\u00dfen Juweliere sind, die ganze Kapitel des Schmucks geschrieben haben. Genau wie Mr. Fisher. Er besch\u00e4ftigt sich haupts\u00e4chlich mit antiken Juwelen, Sammlerst\u00fccken und insbesondere auch mit Naturperlen, eine Spezialit\u00e4t, die bis in die Anf\u00e4nge des Unternehmens von 1850 in Wien zur\u00fcckreicht. In jenen abenteuerlichen Zeiten handelte der Gr\u00fcnder Julius Fisher mit nat\u00fcrlichen Perlen des Arabischen Golfs. Als die Einf\u00fchrung der Zuchtperlen von Mikimoto in den 1920er Jahren den Markt revolutionierte und die Preise f\u00fcr Naturperlen senkte, erweiterte Fisher sein Gesch\u00e4ft auf Schmuck. Mit den Rassengesetzen brachte Robert Fisher 1938, am Vorabend des Krieges, das Familienunternehmen nach London, um es 1941 unmittelbar nach einer Niederlassung in New York zu er\u00f6ffnen. Naturperlen sind zur\u00fcck, pl\u00f6tzlich in Mode, haupts\u00e4chlich aufgrund ihrer Knappheit&#8220;.
