Ein geringerer R\u00fcckgang jedoch f\u00fcr Journalisten: 3.300 (-12%). Es ist klar, dass ein weiterer R\u00fcckgang das Dankesch\u00f6n f\u00fcr eine verlustbehaftete Messe sein k\u00f6nnte, wie vom Veranstalter selbst zugegeben. Auch weil Unternehmen, die die Eckpfeiler waren, wie die Swatch Group, die Marken wie Omega, Longines oder Blancpain hat, bereits gesagt haben, dass sie nicht vorhaben, nach Basel zur\u00fcckzukehren. Kurzum: Eine Mischung aus Unzufriedenheit und Frustration herrschte vor einigen Jahren mit so viel Nostalgie f\u00fcr die Baselworld vor.
