Transparente Einschl\u00fcsse sind wei\u00dfen Einschl\u00fcssen vorzuziehen, die wiederum weniger sch\u00e4dlich sind als dunkle Einschl\u00fcsse. Am schlimmsten sind die dunklen und zentralen Einschl\u00fcsse in den SI1-Klassen. Einer der h\u00e4ufigsten Einschl\u00fcsse wird als Wolke bezeichnet. In der Realit\u00e4t haben kleine Wolken aus verschiedenen Punkten im Allgemeinen keinen Einfluss auf das Aussehen des Diamanten. Bei den sogenannten Federn handelt es sich jedoch um einen Mikroriss, der die Oberfl\u00e4che des Diamanten ber\u00fchrt, diese jedoch nicht beeintr\u00e4chtigt. Ein kleiner Riss hat keine Auswirkungen, w\u00e4hrend ein gr\u00f6\u00dferer Riss langfristig gef\u00e4hrlich sein kann, bis er die Festigkeit des Steins beeintr\u00e4chtigt.
