Viele fragten sich, ob der ersten Ausgabe der Edelstein- und Schmuckmesse, die im Mai 2018 organisiert wurde, eine zweite folgen w\u00fcrde. Die Antwort lautet Ja: Die zweite Ausgabe von GemGen\u00e8ve findet vom 9. bis 12. Die Veranstaltung war auch eine kontroverse Initiative mit der Baselworld, einer Messe, die wegen der hohen Kosten f\u00fcr die Teilnahme vieler Schmuckoperatoren im Fadenkreuz verankert war. Mit rund 4300 Besuchern, davon 50% Nicht-Schweizer (einschlie\u00dflich der Journalisten von gioiellis.com), war es ein guter Erfolg.<br \/>\nGemGen\u00e8ve ist eine Formel, die viele \u00fcberzeugt hat. Juweliere, Antiquit\u00e4tenh\u00e4ndler und Edelsteinh\u00e4ndler befinden sich auf einem kleineren Raum als gro\u00dfe Messen, sind jedoch sehr spezialisiert. So ist die Zahl der Aussteller f\u00fcr 2019 um 22% gegen\u00fcber 2018 gestiegen: F\u00fcr die Neuausgabe sind bereits etwa 180 H\u00e4user registriert, die von Thomas Faerber und Ronny Totah pers\u00f6nlich ausgew\u00e4hlt wurden.<\/p>\n<p>2019 wird auch die Zusammenarbeit von GemGen\u00e8ve mit der Kunst- und Designschule von Genf, Head, fortgesetzt, wobei ein spezielles Projekt f\u00fcr Studenten vom Aussteller Charles Abouchar unterst\u00fctzt wird. Das Designer Showcase, das in Designer Vivarium umbenannt wurde, wurde um neue K\u00fcnstler erweitert, die im zeitgen\u00f6ssischen internationalen Schmuck noch nicht bekannt sind. Die GemGen\u00e8ve 2019 findet unter anderem im selben Zeitraum statt wie die wichtigsten Schmuckauktionen in Genf, die von Sotheby&#8217;s und Christie&#8217;s.
