Die Designerin begann ihre Karriere in den siebziger Jahren, indem nur die besten Handwerker an der Herstellung ihrer Juwelen teilnahmen. Ein Beispiel f\u00fcr Gimels Werk ist die Lotusbrosche mit Diamanten und Granat, die Christie&#8217;s verkauft. Februar bis 19. Juni 2022 findet im Nationalmuseum f\u00fcr Natur und Wissenschaft in Ueno, Tokio, eine besondere Schmuckausstellung statt. Die Ausstellung zeigt rund 200 Arten von Roh- und Poliersteinen.
