So wurde Deefine geboren, ein kleines, von drei Freunden aus verschiedenen L\u00e4ndern gegr\u00fcndetes Haus. Deepa Lakhani, geb\u00fcrtige Inderin, studierte am Central Saint Martins College f\u00fcr Kunst und Design und machte ihre ersten Schritte in der Modewelt, einschlie\u00dflich Alexander McQueen und Fendi. Sie hat auch ihr eigenes Label, Deepa Gurnani. Marco Mencagli dagegen ist Italiener und studierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Universit\u00e4t von Siena. Aber er wurde in eine Juwelierfamilie hineingeboren und kennt die Mechanismen des Marktes, und 2009 gr\u00fcndete er seine Marke, Maren. Jay Lakhani ist schlie\u00dflich der Ehemann von Deepa, der 2005 heiratete. Er ist der Designer von Deefine . Jay studierte am Fashion Institute of Technology und erhielt ein Zertifikat vom Gia (Gemological Institute of America). Er arbeitete auch mit Bulgari und Tiffany und ist der Mitbegr\u00fcnder von Deepa Gurnani.<br \/>\nDie Idee der Marke ist es, traditionelle Kultur und Design in modernen Symbolen neu zu interpretieren. Die Schmuckst\u00fccke werden in Italien mit nachhaltigen und umweltvertr\u00e4glichen Metallen und Steinen hergestellt.
