Unn\u00f6tig. Weil das Leben kurz ist und alles vergeht. Mit dieser schweren Reflexion realisierten die Maler der Renaissance und des darauffolgenden Barocks Gem\u00e4lde mit Stillleben, in denen auch ein Totenkopf dargestellt wurde, Symbol der Verg\u00e4nglichkeit der menschlichen Existenz. Es war auch ein Stil im Einklang mit der Spiritualit\u00e4t der Zeit, vielleicht ein wenig \u00fcbertrieben f\u00fcr den aktuellen Geschmack. Kurioserweise fasziniert die Totenkopfikone jedoch weiterhin K\u00fcnstler, wenn auch auf andere Weise. Vierhundert Jahre sp\u00e4ter, in der Tat, hier ist der Hardrock, Heavy Metal oder die Neo-Romantiker, die den Sch\u00e4del mit der Absicht benutzen, Angst einzufl\u00f6\u00dfen, auch wenn es nichts Wichtigeres gibt als eine Band, die auf der B\u00fchne vorne spielt f\u00fcr Tausende von jungen Menschen, lebendig und gl\u00fccklich.<br \/>\nNach dieser Pr\u00e4misse sollte hinzugef\u00fcgt werden, dass die Form des Sch\u00e4dels auch von Schmuck \u00fcbernommen wurde, wie in der Vanitas-Kollektion von Giovanni Raspini. Der italienische Silberk\u00f6nig hat zehn St\u00fccke aus seiner gro\u00dfen Ausstellung Vanitas Mundi vorbereitet, die Ende 2017 realisiert wurde. Aus der Ausstellung der Skulpturen stammen die Sch\u00e4del, die in einer ironischen und Pop-Taste verwendet werden. Davon zeugen der gro\u00dfe Vanitas del Mare-Anh\u00e4nger (aus vergoldetem Silber und Natursteinen, die in Fusion zusammengef\u00fcgt wurden) oder der Totenkopf mit Schlangenarmreif oder das
