Der Manager, der nach 26 Jahren an der Spitze der Mch Group, der Firma, die die Messe f\u00fcr Schmuck und Uhren organisiert, weicht Michel Loris-Melikoff, der bis gestern die Position des Direktors von Mch Beaulieu Lausanne gehalten hat.<br \/>\nHier die offiziellen Statements: &#8222;Nach 26 Jahren bei der Mch Group, davon 15 als Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer der Baselworld, ist es f\u00fcr mich an der Zeit, etwas Neues zu beginnen und mich neuen Herausforderungen zu stellen&#8220;, sagt Sylvie Ritter, die von das Comit\u00e9 Consultatif der Baselworld. &#8222;Sylvie Ritter hat die Baselworld \u00fcber Jahrzehnte gepr\u00e4gt und war f\u00fcr die Aussteller der wichtigste pers\u00f6nliche Ansprechpartner&#8220;, sagt Fran\u00e7ois Thi\u00e9baud, Pr\u00e4sident des Schweizerischen Ausstellerausschusses.<br \/>\nMichel Loris-Melikoff ist damit die neue operative Nummer eins. Vor drei Jahren war der Manager Mitglied der Mch Group als Direktor von Mch Beaulieu Lausann, einer Messegesellschaft, die seit 2010 zur Basler Gruppe geh\u00f6rt. Loris-Melikoff ist Rechtsanwalt, 53, und begann seine Karriere im Private Banking, bevor er in die Deutsche B\u00f6rse wechselte Veranstaltungsindustrie vor 20 Jahren. Nach sechs Jahren als Pr\u00e4sident der Zurich Street Parade \u00fcbernahm er die Leitung einer Eventagentur, die Konzepte f\u00fcr nationale und internationale Veranstaltungen von internationalen Sportverb\u00e4nden, \u00f6ffentlichen Einrichtungen und privaten Unternehmen entwickelte und umsetzte. Auch f\u00fcr die Uhren- und Edelsteinbranche werden neue Konzepte entwickelt. Sie werden in K\u00fcrze vorgestellt. Weitere Innovationen werden in den Bereichen Catering, Hospitality und Events eingef\u00fchrt, &#8222;um noch besser auf die Bed\u00fcrfnisse von Ausstellern und Besuchern einzugehen&#8220;. Die Baselworld 2019 \u00f6ffnet einen ganzen Tag f\u00fcr Medienvertreter. Die Zeitung Baselworld Daily News erscheint wieder in Druck und mit einem neuen Konzept.
