Doch der Gr\u00fcnder, der 2017 verschwand, besch\u00e4ftigte sich nicht nur mit der Auswahl von K\u00e4ufern und Verk\u00e4ufern au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlicher St\u00fccke: Er selbst hatte St\u00fccke aller Art gesammelt. Und Fred Leightons pers\u00f6nliche Sammlung wurde bei Sotheby&#8217;s in New York versteigert. Der Verkauf belief sich am Mittwoch, 19. April, auf 2,8 Millionen. Es gab nicht nur Schmuckst\u00fccke, sondern auch M\u00f6bel und dekorative Kunstgegenst\u00e4nde aus dem 17. bis 20. Jahrhundert, mit Darstellungen aller Art von viktorianischen bis hin zu Art Deco-Elementen. Am meisten gesch\u00e4tzt wurde zum Beispiel eine Cartier Tischuhr in Gold, T\u00fcrkis und Diamanten (275.000 $). Und die Juwelen? Der H\u00f6hepunkt des Tages war eine Armband-Halskette Zusammensetzung von Chaumet aus dem Jahr 1930, mit alten Diamanten, Single und Baguette, f\u00fcr 112.500 $ verkauft. Gutes Ergebnis auch f\u00fcr eine Marchak-Halskette von etwa 1950, die aus ineinander verwobenen Goldf\u00e4den mit Baguette-Diamanten und mit Blumenmotiven geschnitzten Rubinen besteht, mit Rubinperlen und runden und Baguette-Diamanten. Es wurde f\u00fcr $ 100.000 geschlagen.<br \/>\nEs sollte jedoch beachtet werden, dass nicht alle St\u00fccke einen K\u00e4ufer gefunden haben. Unter anderem blieben St\u00fccke wie eine Cartier-Halskette aus dem Jahr 1945 mit einem Citrin und Diamanten, eine Raymond-Templier-Diamant-Halskette aus den 1950er-Jahren und eine
