Januar 2016 gegr\u00fcndetes Unternehmen. Das Unternehmen ist ein Entwicklungsunternehmen f\u00fcr Unterhaltungssoftware und hat seinen Hauptsitz in Brighton, einer Stadt an der S\u00fcdk\u00fcste Englands in der Grafschaft East Sussex. Colony ist ebenfalls ein Unternehmen, das in der digitalen Welt t\u00e4tig ist, sich aber mit Kryptow\u00e4hrungen, insbesondere Ethereum, besch\u00e4ftigt. Was hat das mit Schmuck zu tun? Ganz einfach: Einer der Partner des kleinen Unternehmens war einer der skurrilsten Designer der letzten Jahre. Er hei\u00dft Jack du Rose. W\u00e4hrend seines Studiums an der Universit\u00e4t entdeckte er in einer Buchhandlung einen Band \u00fcber Juweliere wie Ren\u00e9 Lalique und Faberg\u00e9. Drachen, Schlangen, gef\u00e4hrliche Wesen. In der Danger-Kollektion gibt es Vipern, Schwarze Witwen, Giftmotten, Wespen, Quallen, Pfeilfr\u00f6sche, L\u00f6wen. Er lernte die Kompositionstechnik von Juwelieren wie Stephen Webster und wurde mit 24 eingeladen, Teil des Teams zu werden, das eines der ber\u00fchmtesten St\u00fccke zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Kunst schuf, den mit Diamanten besetzten Sch\u00e4del von Damien Hirst (wenn Sie neugierig sind: besteht aus 8.601 Steinen f\u00fcr insgesamt 1.106,18 Karat). Vielleicht war es auch diese Erfahrung, die Jack du Rose dazu veranlasste, Juwelen zu entwerfen, die in Wirklichkeit kunstvolle Skulpturen sind, die er mit Gold, Diamanten und Steinen von besonderer Wirkung schafft.
